Mobtown Barroom

After a three-year slog, the Mobtown Ballroom got its liquor license in late 2014. We hit the ground running with a small and select set of classic cocktails designed by our first bartender (and beloved friend), Mel Bowdish. Lane Harlan--from the Baltimore staple W.C. Harlan's and general food and drink fame--provided incredibly generous advice and assistance in getting the bar set up, and we owe her eternal gratitude. Over the past five or so years we have honed our game with a wide assortment of new additions.

We believe in the classics here and we try to do them right. We aim for quality drinks in a friendly atmosphere without the pretension that sometimes accompanies upscale drinking. Whether you're looking for a perfect martini or a beer and a shot, we'll take care of you here and provide the exact amount of lubrication to keep you dancing and listening all night long.
