The Boilermaker Jazz Band is the longest standing regular musical partnership that we have at the Ballroom, and it has been a pleasure watching the band grow, experiment, and reinvent itself over the years. This will be a special evening, because it will be the last regular Friday night live band dance at our current location (the closing party is another beast entirely).

For this event, the Boilermakers will be joined by special guest vocalist Russ Wilson (a band-leading force in his own right), and we, your humble hosts, will celebrate twelve years of nonsense with some special contests and throwback mania.

As always, the bar opens at 7:30, we run a beginner drop-in lesson from 8-9 (no partner or experience required), and the dance goes from 9-late. If you’re new to the ballroom, this is an excellent opportunity to see what the place is all about before we move. If you’re an old-timer, this is your chance to jump around and say goodbye before we embark on a glorious new chapter.
